Yes, we know it's Oceanside, but we also recognize that many visitors to America's Finest City come via the North, so this breakfast and lunch spot is worth your road trip consideration. Breakfast is the meal of choice and the place is more "hole in the wall" than fancy café. But with its surf boards on the walls, wooden chairs and other seaside flair, it does have charm. Surfers and locals love it and swear by the banana crunch French toast and homemade coffee cake.

The menu favors hearty eaters. And don't worry if you see a line, it moves fast. There is indoor and outdoor seating.
The Sunday brunch menu offers a few more items than the regular menu, but count on a selection of eggs (egg substitute available), scrambles, pancakes (including whole grain), omelets (including a veggie), turkey sausage, and some Mexican specialties. Lunch is also served and offers burgers, sandwiches and salads (spinach & chicken).
