Located right off of Prospect St. (the main shopping drag in La Jolla), this charming cafe offers outdoor seating, a well rounded menu and a hearty breakfast that attracts a weekend crowd. The vibe is cozy, laid back and friendly. And of course, there is the view!

Breakfast is probably the most popular meal here and offers various egg creations including omelets with upscale ingredients and the option of all egg whites! Other morning options include chilaquelas, breakfast tostada, and a "healthy breakfast salad" consisting of two poached eggs, mixed greens, spinach, shrooms, asparagus, and chevre. Buttermilk pancakes and challah French toast will satisfy the sweet tooth. Sorry, no waffles. Baby spinach, fruit, yogurt and granola can be ordered on the side. Lunch offers a variety of starter and entrée salads (grilled salmon, chopped veggie, spinach), gourmet grilled sandwiches and burgers including a grilled mahi mahi sandwich and a crispy eggplant sandwich for our vegetarian friends. Fish tacos, chicken tostada and pasta round things out.

Open daily at 8a serving breakfast and lunch. Close around 2:30p-3p and on weekends 3p-4p. During the summer, they stay open later.
