On Coronado Island on the Loews Hotel property you and five friends can catch a gondola ride through the canals of the Coronado Cays. The company claims that the Cays are a true replica of the Venice canals...not quite, but they are pretty and this is definitely a unique outing.

The ride is approximately 1 hour and comes with a complimentary appetizer or dessert plate. Blankets, wine glasses, and an ice bucket are also provided (BYOB). There is a selection of either the Pasaporto, Sunset, Caorlina, or Fleet cruise with prices ranging from about $25-$50 per person depending on the cruise of your choice. Another option is to pay a little more for a professional mandolin or violin player (total of $85).

Reservations are a must with a 24 hour cancellation policy. The cruises run from 3pm to midnight Mon-Fri and 11am to midnight on Sat and Sun. The office opens daily at 11am.

The Gondola Company is located at Loews Coronado Bay Resort, just a few miles from the Hotel Del Coronado.
