Decide whether you want to run, hike or ride up to (and we mean UP) Ed Levin Park or drive up to the trailheads and main park area. At the end of Calaveras Road in Milpitas, a pedestrian path meanders along the road and follows the mile plus climb. After it plateaus, look for a parking lot on the right and park entrance. Miles of trails, hundreds of greenspace acres and a lake are the park's best features (1500+ acres total).

If you don't want to head up to Ed Levin park, joggers/walkers may follow the sidewalks and bike lanes along Evans Road which winds its way north and south along the foothills.
