Located in downtown Mountain View, this lively tapas restaurant also features a big bar area that is perfect for those dining solo. Often there is live Latin music, so if a quiet dinner is what you crave, don't come here. The décor is warm and modern with soaring ceilings, tiled floors and trendy accoutrements. It's cool. The menu is big and offers a plethora of athletic-minded fare in addition to larger entrées.

Athletic-minded highlights from the tapas menu include watermelon salad, hummus with grilled asparagus and roma tomatoes, a mixed green salad that has the option of Churassco steak, hearts of palm salad with grilled shrimp, grilled ahi tuna, a Cuban wrap with pork tenderloin, cilantro mojo and peppers, beef kabob, and eggplant tian. The larger plate menu offers three different ceviches--ahi, Peruvian halibut, and Brazilian Scallop. Four paellas are featured and each can be ordered in small or large. The vegetable version is made with grilled veggies, herb green rice, a vegetable and herb stock and comes topped with a romesco sauce. Other entrées include marinated slow roasted pork shoulder, Moroccan lamb cous cous, asado and paprika crusted salmon. Sides include black beans, sweet potato mash, and sauteed spinach (which likely can be ordered steamed).
