• An urban road run that returns along the Mississippi River and past the Pyramid.

    * Our mileage starts/finishes at the Peabody Hotel (2nd and Union Streets), but pick up the route anywhere along the way

    * Run North on 2nd Street for about 3 miles and turn L on Mud Island Rd

    * Turn L on Island Drive which runs along the River and Mud Island Park

    * Turn L at the Auction Ave bridge and cross

    * Turn R on Front St, after passing the Pyramid

    * Follow Front St South till Union Ave

    * Turn L on Union to Start/Finish

    Total = approx. 7-mile loop

  • An easy out & back through the closest park to downtown Memphis. If you want to add mileage, the outer circle (denoted above) in Tom Lee Park is 1.4 miles around.

    * Run West to Riverside Blvd & turn L

    * Once entering the park, choose either path (the park is narrow so you'll see both), and follow it South along the Mississippi River till it ends

The beautiful gardens and greenscaping make the trail ideal for cyclists and runners looking to get active without major traffic worries.
