• The Lachine Canal path is another popular bike and running path for locals and athletic-minded tourists alike. It's a paved, flat, straight route that parallels the Lachine Canal. Most of the property immediately adjacent to the path is planted grass and parklike. The path extends almost 7 miles (in one direction) from the Old Port of Montreal to Lachine. Take a look at our pics for a little better impression.

  • An alternate route to the top of Mont Royal. Our mileage starts/finishes at the Hyatt Regency, but pick up the path anywhere along the way.

  • A beautifully scenic route for those staying in downtown Montreal, bring your quads because it's a good climb.

    * Pick up the route anywhere along our loop, but our mileage starts from the intersection of Peel Road (Rue) & Avenue des Pins

    * Jog South on Avenue des Pins only for about a half-block and look for a very curvy path/road on your right that leads up the hill

    * After a couple of switchbacks, turn left on the Olmstead Path, heading South

    * Follow this cinder/dirt path as it winds up Mont Royal
