Taipei is “China-light”--smaller city, fewer people, cleaner air and a slower pace. It’s a great first-step for traveling to a Chinese-speaking region without the hustle/bustle of Hong Kong nor the hassle and cost of getting a visa.

Between the lack of space to sprawl out and limited options for longer periods of body movement, all hope seems lost for any form of activity. But, fear not. Yoga saves the day!
Finding the right gift can be the key to one's heart...at least for the moment!

The key to finding YOUR bar is a willingness to taste. And taste them twice. But before you buy, you can do a little homework to maximize your investment in time and money:
Have you been told that you’re obese or overweight and know that it can’t be right? I have.
Last year, during a routine primary care check-up, one of the clinical assistants measured my height and weight. It was mid-spring, and I was in pretty good shape at the time. In fact, I had just gotten a DEXA scan (It’s a body fat measurement that we will explore later.) as part of a health evaluation. It was a stellar 9%. I was feeling good!
Depending on the destination, vacationing with your kids can be a wonderful memory-making experience or a complete disaster. Any parent who says otherwise bends the truth like magician David Blaine bends the mind.
While certain experiences guarantee kid fun —Disney parks, Hawaii beaches, mountain snow-skiing---the cultural enrichment payoff is minimal. If your 11-year old son believes that Epcot is a Chinese city, it might be a sign to get him a passport and go someplace far…very far.
