Gold Drury Inn Albuquerque

Just off Interstate 25 and approximately 5 miles north of downtown Albuquerque, this hotel is one of Albuquerque's first Drury Inns. The hotel's tidy accommodations, free hot breakfasts, complimentary internet access and gratis evening snacks give visitors a bang for their buck.

Onsite gym not very helpful. Short drive to a fantastic healthclub with legitimate lap pool (less than 5 minutes).
Gold Embassy Suites Albuquerque

This Embassy Suites has to be one of the top 10 of its brand in the U.S.--at least those that we've toured.

Fitness Facility:
Wonderfully new fitness center inside a spectacular hotel just off the highway, but a long walk to the heart of downtown.
Gold Hampton Inn Albuquerque - University/Midtown

Located along I-40 approximately 4 miles east of downtown Albuquerque, the University/Midtown Hampton Inn is the best stay/workout option outside the city center with their affordable rates and exercise convenience.

Fitness Facility:
Nothing onsite, but $3/day admission to an awesome health club and lap pool across the parking lot.
Gold Hyatt Regency

Located across from the convention center and the Sports and Wellness Club at the Galleria, Hyatt Regency is downtown Albuquerque's premier hotel.

Price: Moderately Expensive
Fitness Facility:
A good on-site gym and even a pool that may tempt some swimmers to turn a few laps. If you still want more machines and iron, a full-fledged fitness center is a block away.
Gold Park Inn by Radisson Hotel & Water Park - Northeast

Located along I-40 approximately 4 miles east of downtown Albuquerque, the Park Inn by Radisson is one of the best stay/workout options outside the city center with their affordable rates and exercise convenience.

Free admission to a top notch health club located directly behind the hotel.
Silver DoubleTree by Hilton

This hotel with its 295 rooms is making good strides with a recent renovation, and we always enjoy DoubleTree's delicious chocolate chip cookies.

Plans to improve the tiny onsite gym (stay tuned), but within walking distance of a decent full-service health club.
Silver Hotel Andaluz

Originally built by Conrad Hilton in the late 1930’s, and later operated as La Posada de Albuquerque, the newly renovated Hotel Andaluz is home to 107 guest quarters, which keeps the big convention crowds away.

Nothing on-site, but guests are provided a complimentary pass to health club across the street.
Silver Nativo Lodge

About a mile north along Interstate 25 from Drury Inn, Nativo's 151-room accommodation comes with unique furnishings and colors that impart a Native American style. And the place is inexpensive! Often $75 to $100 will secure a bed for a night.

Silver Sheraton Albuquerque Uptown

This very standard, corporate-style accommodation located in Albuquerque's near northeast quadrant is a convenient hotel for those with business in the area. It was the recent recipient of a total renovation, from the lobby to the fitness center, and everywhere in between.
