The Beltline is a series of parks and trails and it's always growing. Currently, there are four trails and six parks open. This link provides an update about which trails are open. As of this writing there are 33 miles of multi-use trails!

Events held throughout the year in this 21 acre park built especially for the 1996 Summer Olympics. Ice skating during the winter, live music during the summer, and free WiFi access year round near the café and Starbucks.

Only 25 minutes north of downtown Atlanta, the Chattachoochee is a great escape for local urban dwellers and visitors. Canoeing, rafting, hiking, fishing, horse riding, are just a few activities enjoyed throughout these protected lands.

Wow, there's athletic fun for all here! 15 miles of wooded nature trails, a 1.3 mile trek to the top of the mountain, fishing in a 363-acre lake, golf courses, dining, shopping, skyride, ropes course, mini golf, laser show and more. Oh, did we mention tubing in the winter!

Shopping, dining, and entertainment complex all beneath the streets of downtown Atlanta. Six city blocks (12 acres) are included. You can do a scavenger hunt or walking tour or just explore on your own.

Decent fairway and green conditions, but best feature is its proximity to downtown and the airport, 15 minutes and 10 minutes respectfully. Golf Digest recommends it as the best course near the Atlanta airport. Blue tees have a 71.4 rating and 136 slope, and gold tees are tougher.

Atlanta is home to Coca-Cola and getting an inside view of the company can be entertaining. Visitors will learn about the bottling process and the company's history. There's even a 4D movie. No visit would be complete without some taste testing.
