We provide the same review and recommendation for both Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites, because both of these Hilton-family properties share the same address (adjacent to one another), charge similar nightly rates, provide similar (but not identical) accommodations and amenities, and, best of all, offer the same exceptional work out option.

Both hotels' accommodations are outfitted in newer decor (e.g., plasma televisions and upgraded bedding), are designed to allow plenty of natural light to shine through the windows, are hooked up to free high-speed internet, and have standard bathrooms/showers. Homewood's quarters differ in that the floor plan includes a fully-equipped kitchen (microwave, refrigerator, stove and dishwasher) and separate living/sleeping areas. Both have access to a 24 hour convenience store and onsite coin laundry.

Homewood Suites also piles on a few more perks:  complimentary WiFi, free breakfasts and complimentary evening snacks. Compare both hotels' nightly rates, figure in Homewood's free food and book the less expensive property unless you have an extended stay planned or are traveling with the family, then definitely choose Homewood.

As mentioned above, both hotels are physically and figuratively connected to the Maryland Athletic Club (MAC). Guests don't even have to walk outside, just present your room key and ID for free access to this phenomenal health club. MAC even houses a 4-lane x 25-yard lap pool! (And a smaller 18 yard 2-lane pool.)

Joggers should consider an outdoor route along the Inner Harbor.
