With a view of Boston Common via the floor to ceiling windows, this bright, modern and definitely cool restaurant features gourmet offerings with an eye toward health. The menus are not big, but the contemporary American options are solid, fresh, creative and gourmet.
Lunch offers fresh and seasonal entrée salads and gourmet sandwiches. Examples include the warm grilled veggie bowl, Tuscan kale salad, Greek salad and Caesar. Chicken, shrimp, steak, scallops or salmon can be added to any salad. Other lunch items include burgers, pan seared cod, pasta, flat iron steak, pan seared salmon and a quinoa bowl with sauteed vegetables and teriyaki sauce. The dinner menu has more appetizers such as tuna tartare and beef carpaccio. More entrees are also offered such as the veggie lovers vegan feast. The salads can also be ordered at dinner.
Blu also operates a Cafe (4th floor) that offers fresh juices, smoothies, breakfast eats, sandwiches, salads, and more! It's a very complete menu offering healthy eats for all three meals.
