This place is a must-see. The teahouse was actually crafted in Tajikistan and shipped to Boulder, so expect total authenticity. There are carved pillars, painted ceilings, a big fountain, copper sculptures, and other artistic touches. The ethnic menu is diverse, creative and appealing.
Whether you prefer a light or hearty breakfast, this menu has something for you. Examples include the farmer's market omelet, Szechwan tofu scramble, breakfast burrito, buttermilk pancakes, orange foccacia French toast and homemade granola with yogurt and fruit. The weekend brunch menu is virtually the same but adds lunchables such as BBQ pizza, Italian panini, Indonesian peanut noodles and pork tacos. Highlights of the weekday lunch menu include lamb shish kabob, paella, Moroccan chicken tagine, Vietnamese seafood pho and number of side salads including grilled salmon over greens and Mediterranean salad with hummus, cucumbers and choice of chicken or tofu. After 5pm the dinner menu offers similar fare along with a handful of appetizers such as ahi poke, hummus plate and Indian somosas.
