We love Boulder for offering us many fantastic yoga options. The owner of this Bikram studio takes a no-nonsense approach to teaching and sticks to the Bikram philosophy to the letter. Radha Garcia founded the studio about 20 years ago!
- Bikram Yoga
Although there are plenty of options for Bikram and CorePower yoga in Boulder, Yoga Pod caught our eye with its hot yoga classes and posh studio design. In addition to other vinyasa style classes, "the Pod" offers a hot vinyasa yoga class held in a room heated to about 105 degrees.
This popular Boulder health club is one of the best workout facilities in the area. Admission for non-members costs $15/day but guests of the Best Western Plus receive a discount through the hotel.
We love this studio because of its location in the hip Hill District, which gives it a fun and energetic vibe. With sleek modern décor, like brightly colored walls, exposed ductwork and funky light fixtures, it's a great environment for a hardcore yoga session.
For over 30 years, RallySport has been a fixture in the Boulder exercise scene. With a proclamation as the leader in innovation, facilities and personal attention, and well as a passion for exercise and wellness, it's easy to understand why.
This club is fitness heaven!
Come here primarily for the wonderful 8-lane, 25-yard pool. The fitness area is okay for weights, but it lacks a wide assortment of cardio equipment, especially bikes.
- Community Center
Good 8x25 yard pool here along with plenty of free weights, and Body Master weight machines. Cardio equipment selection is weak--especially steppers and bikes--but, that's likely due to the locals' penchant for outdoor cardio exploits. Admission is $7.00/day.
