Grand Place is the heart of tourist attractions in downtown Brussels. Often rated as one of the most beautiful and historic town squares in Europe, the square is a definitely worth a quick tour.

Fantastic saddle riding through Foret de Soignes (aka, "hacking")--one of outlying Brussels most fabulous dense forests. You will have to prove that you can stay on a horse while it trots (ie, no unathletic types wanted).

As the name implies, this small market mostly offers work by local artisans including sculptures, paintings, jewelry, photography and crafts. Sun 10a to 1p mid May through Sept

Pro Velo
Don't expect a high intensity workout, but if you want to see Brussels from 2-wheels, Pro Velo will take you on a tour of the city (1-4 hours). Or, you can rent a bike from them and go at it alone. No mountain or road bikes available--think cruiser special.
