The Marriott O'Hare is a great place to flop for weary travelers fresh off the tarmac or heading out of town. The workspaces are modular, the social areas in the lobby are inviting, and the day-to-night bar will keep you from hitting the hay early. Since this is a review of the hotel, not the night life, we’ll get back to the basics: inside the 470 rooms, guests will find luxurious bedding (down comforters, custom duvets, cotton-rich linens), large desk space and high-speed internet ($12.95/day, but free for Rewards members), as well as the standard amenities Marriott hotels boast across the country.
Athletic-minded travelers will enjoy the fitness center in this Marriott. Life Fitness is the brand of choice, with an abundance of cardiovascular pieces to shake off the jet lag. Sufficient amounts of dumbbells and weight machines will serve as a pump-worthy. Unfortunately, there's only a recreational pool here. If you're looking to lace up your trainers and go for a run, check out the airport route.
