Hinckley Lake to Whipps Ledges Trail Loop (Brunswick)

Cleveland, OH
Area: Downtown

Located near Brunswick and about 25 miles from Downtown Cleveland, this southern most area of the Cleveland Metroparks is best known for its famous Turkey Vultures or "Hinckley Buzzards" and contains acres of forest and more than 25 miles of trails. Hinckley Lake is encircled by two park roads, West Drive and East Drive. Both paved roads can be accessed on State Road which runs north and south through the center of the park. The 6.7-mile mostly dirt loop encircles the 90-acre Hinckley Lake then leads to Buckeye Trail and Whipps Ledges--a mountain cliff which climbs to 1,148 feet.
