Located right downtown, this steakhouse is the perfect place for a business lunch or dinner. Count on traditional decor with lots of dark wood, white linens and a big steakhouse menu with plenty of options for light and hearty eaters. The bar menu may be a good bet for those dining alone.
The dinner menu is big and offers enough tasty appetizers to make a meal. Consider the cold Maine lobster cocktail, the chilled shellfish platter, sashimi tuna or blackened jumbo scallops. Add one of the salads such as the spinach with hearts of palm and mushrooms as well as one of the side veggies (steamed broccoli, sauteed shrooms, French green beans or steamed asparagus) and it's a sensible meal. Other menu items include the usual meat suspects along with steak Dijon, a daily list of nearly a dozen fresh fish, lobster tail, and lemon caper chicken. The lunch menu offers entrée salads (chicken, salmon, tenderloin), Kobe beef burgers, a daily fresh fish with seasonal veggies, various steaks, crab cakes and the lemon-caper chicken. If you elect to eat at the bar, the menu is pretty good and includes jumbo lump crab cocktail, shrimp cocktail, sashimi tuna, salmon tacos, mini Kobe burgers, Maine lobster roll, and thin crust pizza. We didn't see any salads listed, but we're sure they are available.
