Located SW of downtown on Detroit street, the smallish eatery welcomes with a menu that covers the gourmet, comfort food, AND lighter bases. The vibe is more bar/lounge but with a trendy/artsy tilt. Plant life, big store front style windows, cowhide chairs, hanging ropes, and other unique touches. So don't think sports bar by any means, but rather, cool neighborhood gathering place.
Dinner's menu is broad. Highlights from a recent menu include Mediterranean trio of hummus, gigante beans and tabbouleh; local heirloom tomatoes with fresh mozzarella, charred shishito peppers, tuna crudo, shrimp with a spicy tomato butter sauce, grilled octopus, pork and goat meatballs, pan seared Atlantic salmon, salmon burger, various pizzas, and thankfully, salads that have option of protein! There's arugula, Caesar, summer greens, and a roasted cauliflower.
If you come for brunch, there are benedicts, omelets, salads, burgers, pasta, breakfast quesadilla, and "Sweet Stuff" such as quinoa banana pancakes, chocolate stuffed churros, and house beignets,
