This hotel is situated in the heart of downtown Colorado Springs which means guests can walk to the nearby restaurants, museums, night clubs and shops. The five story historic structure was built in 1902 as a stock exchange for local mining companies. While the exterior maintains its historic character, the interior is equipped with modern conveniences.
The 117 guestrooms and suites are outfitted with ceiling fans, coffee maker, a Kube sound audio system, flat screen HDTV, large room safe, plush WynRest bedding, granite work desk and ultra quiet sound barriers. The oversized windows, high ceilings, and exposed brick walls give the room an urban and modern vibe. WiFi is free. And in addition to the 24 hour room service, there is a Cajun and Creole restaurant on the lobby level.
When it’s time to get your sweat on, you can do so 24 hours a day. The basement location means no natural light, but the fitness center does contain good quality Cybex cardio machines, weight benches and dumbbells. There is a sauna and steam room on the same level. MX Spa is also on this level and offers a bevy of treatments.
Additionally, Mining guests get complimentary use of The Antlers fitness center which offers a few more workout machines by Precor including strength machines. The Antlers also houses a leisure swimming pool. Antlers is just two blocks away. Sorry swimmers no lap pool here. Check out the options for lap swimming under our Work Out tab.
This hotel offers $20.00 valet parking. There is no onsite self parking, but there is garage parking in the neighborhood as well as street meter parking.
