Just west of Highway 75, Embassy's proximity to the awesome Lifetime Fitness club is its winning attribute. Guests will enjoy typical Embassy hospitality in its newly-renovated 251 separate living and sleeping suites equipped with refrigerators and microwave ovens. While you may be tempted to zap a late night snack, don't fuss with breakfast. Embassy cures your morning cravings with its complimentary full buffet featuring waffles, eggs, cereals and juices. And evening happy hours present free hors d'oeuvres and drinks.
Embassy's gym will not, however, cure your exercise cravings. It has enough to get beads of sweat moving, with a few treads and ellipticals, as well as dumbells and a multigym, but the hotel's complimentary shuttle will whisk you to one of Detroit's best health clubs, Lifetime Fitness. Admission is somewhat steep at $30/day, but this club is a fitness amusement park with all sorts of rides. If a $30 guest pass is too rich for your blood, consider the $11/day Troy Community Center, located just 10 minutes south. See if the complimentary shuttle will cover the ground. Otherwise, it's a cab ride or a hop in the rental car.
