Wow! If you have never been inside one of these mega-health clubs, you are in for a treat. All are monstrous facilities with too many machines to count and every athletic modality you can imagine.
Lifetime's 88,000 square foot Troy property is no exception, sporting over 50 treadmills, a ton of free weights and a highly rated lap pool. The fitness floor's strength section resembles a Las Vegas sports book with its 6 wide screen televisions hanging high on the walls. There's even a 45-foot rock climbing wall for those looking to scale heights.
The club's lap pool received our highest rating, featuring 5 lanes separated by floating lines and bottom stripes over its 25-meter course. Kickboards and pull-buoys are provided to break up the yardage.
The $30/day admission is expensive. But you should experience this club at least once, and you can expense it right? The club also offers a week pass for $75.
