This is an upscale full-service health club (no pool) available to women only. With a cascading water wall, curvy contemporary staircases, and a light, airy atmosphere, you may think you’ve stepped into a modern-day spa when you first walk in, but this is no spa.
Hot Box Yoga is situated in a small shopping center on Doniphan Park Circle, a short 5 to 10-minute drive from the University of Texas and just to the west of the Sunland Park area. Sufficient parking is always available.
This rehab facility doubles as a health club. With other superior fitness facilities nearby, we're not certain if any athletic-minded traveler would/should choose this club instead. However, it never hurts to have multiple sweat options.
Despite somewhat limited options in El Paso, we remain relentless in our pursuit of yoga opportunities. Mind Body Studio is a yoga, pilates and Zumba studio offering vinyasa-style yoga for all levels and abilities.
Admission fees are steep for non-members ($20/24 hours), but this enormous facility packs a hard punch of high quality workout equipment. Planet is warehouse-like on the inside with high ceilings and plenty of spacing between machines.
Although this paved bike and run route that meanders along the Rio Grande River continues to be a work in progress, many miles have reached completion. Most El Pasoans pick up the flat pathway just behind River Run Plaza on Country Club Drive (just west of the River).
This studio is located on the west side of El Paso in the Monticello apartment complex, where parking is readily available. The practice room features grey walls, wood flooring, and simple decorations. On-site is also a boutique with earthy décor. They sell everything from t-shirts to candles.

Typical 8-lane, 400 meter collegiate track that has posted hours (8:00 am to 12:00 pm) but officially doesn't allow non-students to use the track. Run at your own risk. A parking lot is adjacent to the track, but it was nearly full of student cars when we took a tour in the morning.
Legitimate lap pools are a rare find in El Paso. We probably would not recommend this mediocre facility if it were located in most other cities that we cover, but since desperate times require desperate measures, we've included it.
