Driving up to this overbearing, concrete hotel with its unsightly, above-ground attached parking structure hardly inspires the same feelings as pulling into the a landscaped sanctuary. However, the saying "never judge a book by its cover", should be included somewhere in this hotel's marketing material because the Westin's inside is more personable and comforting than its facade suggests.
Westin 487 guest quarters are contemporary with a minimalist flair. In a pleasing contrast to the rooms' brown tones and clean lines, fluffy white comforters flow over the trademark Heavenly beds. We like the end product: a look that combines comfort with a touch of panache. In room coffee maker and mini fridge ease your stay, but you must pay for internet.
The complimentary workout room awaits your sweat on the 4th floor. Inside, athletic-minded travelers will find a slew of top notch Life Fitness machines in a relatively large, well lit, modern workout space. The beige and white room is noting too special, but the equipment sparkles. Both cardio and strength options are available.
