From the city: The Municipal Pool is located within the City's Downtown Redevelopment District and houses a multi-use competition pool, dive tank, exercise room, classrooms, administrative offices, and even a café. The facility features a passive cooling and heating system because the state energy codes related to the translucent roof and wall panels prohibited the use of air conditioning. Retractable roof panels and roll-up doors can be adjusted to control temperature and humidity.
Open recreation swim: M-F 8a-3:30p and 7p-8p. Saturday 12p-5p. Adult lap swim is M-F 3:30p-7p with 2 lanes designated. High School Swim Season is Feb. 23 - May 17.
Probably the best lap pool in Las Vegas, and cheap admission at $3. If you're over 50, the price drops to $2. Kids under 3 are free. Often the pool is set up for short course, so that means 14 lanes. Another perk, there is a fitness room here too.
Water runs warm for competitive lap swimmers. Call to confirm hours and lesson schedules. Bare bones shower and locker facilities, so there's no hair dryers, soap, etc.
