Take your pick: a track workout at UNLV (though hours are notoriously inconsistent, usually 830a to 1p, M-F only) OR head out for a 10-mile out and back with your turnaround & reward at Paradise Park:

This facility is one of the closest health clubs beyond the hotel gyms. It's an appealing gym with all the usual cardio and strength suspects, basketball court and group exercise, along with a 25-meter lap pool. 24 Hour Fitness admission is $15/day. Bring your own sweat towel and a photo ID.
This studio is the closest Bikram Yoga studio to the Strip. It is by far one of the most "upscale" studios we've encountered. Pure air filters, non-toxic paint, specialized carpet and a whole studio water filtration system are some of the amenities.
The fitness centers at the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas serve as a destination for both guests of the hotel and those looking for a good workout. Each of the resort’s 2 towers boasts their own gym. The West End tower’s is larger at 5,250 square feet vs the East End’s 2,087 square feet.
We believe this is the closest full-service health club from the Strip (outside of the hotels, of course). About a 10 minute taxi or drive from center Strip and much shorter if you're staying at or near the Wynn. This is Vegas, so of course there is a "stage" for class instructors.
From the city: The Municipal Pool is located within the City's Downtown Redevelopment District and houses a multi-use competition pool, dive tank, exercise room, classrooms, administrative offices, and even a café.
The UNLV track is a top rate oval, but the problem is that it's availability is notoriously unreliable. If you can get on, it's a great option. But if the track is closed, consider taking our other recommended route.
$10 gets you access to this stellar pool. It's 25 yards and boasts 6 lanes. We especially appreciate that TWO lanes are always available for lap swim whenever the pool is open. Locker rooms are part of the deal.
