Head to any of the historic hotels for "high tea" and finger sandwiches--it's a hoot and a wonderful British tradition. The following hotels are said to be "the best" for high tea: The Ritz (3 sittings, make reservations); Claridge's (especially impressive for tea purists); Dorchester (offers 30 tea varieties); and The Savoy.  The Savoy underwent a $161 million renovation that was completed in 2011 and offers a truly elegant setting.
