New York has Central Park, Chicago has the Lakefront and London runners have Hyde Park. Acquired by Henry VIII in 1536, Hyde provides 630 acres of greenspace and miles of horse, jogging, walking and skating paths. The perimeter is four miles, but more distance can be accrued by criss-crossing on internal paths. Some parts are paved and others are dirt surface. Toilets are available.
