Border Grill Santa Monica is the flagship restaurant and offers a creative menu that blends traditional Mexican favorites with more innovative Latin American cuisine. The setting is light, bright and colorful with purples, reds, light wood and white lantern like chandeliers. The atmosphere is casual and the menu is upscale.
Along with quesadillas, carnitas, slow roasted pork, taquitos and an enchilada dish, lighter lunch fare includes ceviches, various salads (chopped, grilled chicken or turkey, baby greens), grilled fish tacos, a portabello mushroom creation, and grilled salmon. Dinner is similar with additional entrée selections such as pan seared seabass, grilled turkey breast, gaucho steak and a stew of braised lamb and roasted veggies. Brunch features an unlimited tapas menu for a set price.
