Located in the historic Oviatt Building, this fancy, art deco, Northern Italian restaurant offers a fine dining experience in downtown LA. The plentiful appetizers, salads, soups and sides provide lighter eaters with solid options. The pastas and entrées will satisfy heartier appetites. Cicada is known for its live music and a classy, vintage ambiance as it brings back the best of 1920’s/1940’s Los Angeles.
Appetizers include ahi carpaccio, marinated veggies, and a lobster crepe. There are a half dozen salads including a timbale of roasted beets, mixed greens and a lobster salad. Diners can boost their veggie intake with the a la carte sides. Entrées include pastas, grilled meats, seafood and poultry.
