This is the city's oldest market and the open air center attracts locals and visitors each and every day. With over 80 restaurants, shops, stalls and grocers this place a MUST SEE for anyone staying in the area. It's busy and lively most days but even more so during the summer when special events take place such as the live summer concert series (Thursdays and Fridays). The market borders another popular LA destination, The Grove, a huge outdoor retail complex.

If you're hungry, this is the place for you. There are all sorts of eateries including a bbq joint, coffee shops, Chinese restaurant, sushi joint, gourmet pizza place, ice cream and frozen yogurt shops, breakfast places, beer and wine hangouts, a French crepe company, and burger joint. This list goes on and even includes "The Salad Bar" -- a build your own salad place with very fresh ingredients. The market also sells baked goods, veggies, fruit, fish, meats, specialty food items, nuts, candy, jewelry and craft items.

There are two parking lots with 2 hours free with validation. Then $3 for third hour etc.
