Located across the street from the GMEX convention complex in the heart of downtown Manchester, this Radisson is a fabulous stay and play accommodation. American travelers should be aware that the international Radisson properties are typically much more luxurious and amenity-laden than the budget-friendly stateside hotels. Radisson Edwardian is a perfect example of this contrast. All 263 rooms provide a taste of the good life: Radisson's trademarked "Cloud 9" beds, Bang & Olufsen entertainment systems, satellite televisions, walk-in showers, and wireless internet access are a few of the samplings that will make leaving your comfortable room an uneasy feat. Meals can even be brought to your door 'round the clock (24 hours).
The hotel's lower-level fitness facility and spa operated by Sienna is one of the best in Manchester. Without windows, the space is somewhat cavernous but the hardwood floors, wall-inset televisions and first class equipment enhance its appeal. Every mechanical sweat modality is presented. They've replaced the machines with dumbbells, but also added a Kinesis wall for for some stack-loaded fun.
