This laid-back restaurant offers upscale street food with flavors from all over. The décor “theme” is beachy-cool with blue and white tones, rustic lamps and ceiling fans. The outdoor patio is a nice option when the weather cooperates. If you sit at the long bar, take note of the wanderlust themed photography hanging on the wall. Keep in mind, however, that this is an “order at the counter” set up.
The menu is divided into five parts: tacos, not tacos, bowls, sides and desserts. Tacos are the specialty and there are a variety of fillings such as portobello with queso fresco, pork belly, fried oyster, duck, chicken, spicy chorizo, Baja fish and more. Other menu choices include vegetarian fare, seafood such as tuna poke or ceviche, traditional Mexican eats, like pork or mushroom mole tamales and pork posole. The "bowls" section offers generous portions with choice of protein and other add-ons. Sesame rib-eye, chicken, pork, duck, Portobello, shrimp “banh mi” are protein options. There isn’t a specific "salad" section, but we favor the chopped salad and spicy cucumber side item.
