It's about a 20-30 minute drive (13 miles) from downtown to this large, woodsy and hilly park that boasts miles of trails for hiking and running. There are also paved trails for those who enjoy roller blading and cycling, but beware the cars. Dogs are allowed here too.

The End
A top notch live band venue that locals love. The music here is all about rock n roll. The End bills itself as the "premier small-capacity Rock N Roll dive bar." Big names have played here. REM, Fugazi, Minor Threat, White Stripes, Ty Segall... Now, it's more of a music band stepping stone.
