Located on the Vanderbilt campus (not far from Borders Books) in the Shulman Center for Jewish Life, Grins is a sparsely decorated café that offers healthy vegetarian and kosher eats. It's very casual with counter service and paper plates and plastic utensils. Check the hours because typically Grins is only open when classes are in session.
The small menu is printed daily and will include salads, sandwiches and one or two hot entrées. Selections may include a curried tofu wrap, paninis, Mediterranean wrap, spinach slaw, sweet potato salad, pumpkin cous cous, vegan cookies, and soups.
Vegan and Vegetarian friendly, Kosher
Hours vary according to when classes are in session. Typically open from 7a to 9pm M-Th and 11a until 3 pm on Fridays. Closed for summer and spring breaks.
