This Nashville relative newcomer offers a fabulous "stay and sweat" option for this city. We love hotels that think, design and build "out of the box" and the Hutton is as far from a cookie-cutter property as you can get. Throughout the hotel, guests will appreciate the casual yet sophisticated vibe and unique decor: part Southern ranch, part 21st Century urban. The combination works well. The hotel also boasts an entertainment stage/area for live performances! This is Music City.
All 248 rooms follow in step with the hotel's common area theme and raise the luxury bar for Nashville accommodations. Flat-screen televisions, baths with granite floors and rainfall showers, complimentary WiFi, high thread-count bedding and whimsical yet comforting furnishings are welcome staples. Our only gripe is the lack of counter space on the bathroom vanity. The glass counter top is ornate but not very practical. 24-Hour room service is available for those with late-night cravings and a lobby-located coffee bar will get you perked up in the morning. We also appreciate Hutton's 100% smoke-free policy.
For your sweat, Hutton's workout room is a delightfully cheerful space designed with hardwood flooring and large mirrors on the walls. Unfortunately, the room does not have any windows so natural light is an omission. Nevertheless, the top notch cardio machines (with attached plasmas), separate Paramount weight stations, weighted balls, TRX equipment and small dumbbell set make Hutton's hotel gym the best in Nashville. Keep in mind that the cycling here is via Peloton cycles. For those who like the cushier seat of a health club stationary, you are out of luck here.
Swimmers must head to Sportsplex as Hutton is without a pool. Ask the free courtesy car to drive you over and pick you up. The Hutton service has a 3-mile radius and you are well within that.
Joggers should consider a jaunt along our recommended route.
