Ichiban is located smack dab in the middle of touristy Second Avenue and offers a low key and more authentic sushi option than some of the other sushi joints in Nashville (such as Rusan's). The sushi bar is fairly small and located at the back of the restaurant. There is also a full bar area and two levels for dining, with the more quiet area upstairs. The décor is traditional Japanese.
Over 20 sushi rolls along with sashimi and other Japanese cuisine such as teriyaki, tempura, rice and noodle dishes. There is a fairly long list of appetizers as well.
Open for lunch M-F and dinner nightly. Lunch is 11:30a to 2p.
