Located close to Vanderbilt's campus and not far from Music Row and Hillsboro Village, Ken's is popular with professors, students, music types and others looking for no nonsense sushi and Japanese cuisine at value prices. There is a small sushi bar, tables and a few booths. The setting is casual and bright. There's not much "decor." But it's pleasant. By the way, Ken is short for Kenji Ohno, the chef.
Beyond the sushi and sashimi there are dumplings, seaweed salad, edamame, miso soup, tofu, veggie trays, noodles, rice bowls, and other cooked cuisine--both Japanese and Thai -ike dishes.
Open daily 11a to 10p
