This Tex-Mex joint offers tacos, enchiladas, decent salads, and even bbq. The price is low and the quality is high. Get in line to order at the counter and then grab a seat. They will bring you the food. In terms of decor, it is southern casual and diner-like with lots of random things on the walls and diner like tables and chairs.
Menu highlights include the “Monster Vegetarian Plate”, smoked brisket enchilada, mushroom and spinach enchilada with caramelized onions, the spicy shrimp tacos (fried), tequila lime chicken taco, the “Cocinero” salad which has an option of tequila lime chicken or pork, and ‘local bbq” taco. Vegetarians have plenty of options here. Sides include vegetarian black beans, sauteed veggies, jalapeño cole slaw and Cuban corn.
Open daily for lunch and dinner. Lunch begins at 11a.
