We rarely find a Loews hotel with rates appropriate for our "Moderate" category. Across the street from "Harvard of the South," this Nashville representative is a sensible choice for travelers with business on Vanderbilt's campus or downtown Nashville (2 miles away). With room rates often incredibly reasonable, guests can get some bang out of their buck thanks to Loews' accommodating quarters and upscale service.
The lobby is cowboy chic with a double-sided fireplace, plenty of work space and areas designated for relaxation. The rooms contemporary decor and cool grey tones provide an upscale yet homey feel. We are especially fond of the hotel's 24-hour room service, complimentary bottled water, free WiFi, and free shuttle (5-mile radius). This property is not as fancy as many other Loews around the globe. The workout room is further evidence of this disappointing fact.
Life Fitness fills the cardio void in the fitness center. Treadmills, ellipticals and upright bikes are all LF-branded. Strength options are not quite as abundant with a universal multi function unit, weighted balls and a dumbbell set. Another option is to get your fitness on in your room. The hotel will happily provide a yoga mat, stability ball and resistance bands.
For a longer or more intense strength, cardio or swim session, head to the Centennial Sportsplex as it houses the best lap pool around and it's only 3 blocks away. Yogis and others can view our recommended offsite options.
Joggers should contemplate an outdoor run along our recommended route.
