This fun and hip eatery is located in the midst of the booming Gulch neighborhood. Outside there is a welcoming patio for outdoor dining. Inside, the space is airy with high ceilings, cool cement floors, retro light fixtures, white subway tiled walls and a long bar accompanied by light blue bar stools. Table and booth seating are available. Think modern, casual and cool. The open kitchen houses a wood-fire oven used for the hand-made pizzas and other (non fried) eats. This place's menu is a people pleaser.
Milk and Honey serves all three meals and has a somewhat separate coffee, bakery and home-made gelato section with glass cases displaying the sweets and treats. Breakfast offers home-made granola with vanilla yogurt, steel cut oats with fresh berries or local honey, a protein bowl of soaked whole grains, Greek yogurt, nuts and coconut vanilla, French toast, avocado toast, egg sandwiches, omelets, veggie breakfast burrito, Nova lox bagel, and specialties like Shakshuka and chicken and buttermilk waffles with bourbon maple syrup and home fries. The lunch menu includes brunch favorites, entree salads (kale, beets, Caesar, farro, arugula, all with option to add protein), pizzas, plus a selection of hot and cold sandwiches.
For dinner the "M&H Munchies" may appeal to those looking for something sensible. It consists of white bean puree, hummus, sun-dried tomato spread, carrots, celery, cucumber, house pickles and fresh made sourdough pita. Lunch's entree salads are an option along with pastas, wood-fire pizzas, and dishes such as curry roasted cauliflower, porky fried rice, and Mediterranean Veggie with falafel, labneh, pistachio mint pesto, barley, red pepper, smoked tomato and more!
