It's about a 20-30 minute drive (13 miles) from downtown to this large, woodsy and hilly park that boasts miles of trails for hiking and running. There are also paved trails for those who enjoy roller blading and cycling, but beware the cars. Dogs are allowed here too.

When arriving, look for the big set of stairs at the Belle Meade entrance that lead up to the park. Your blood will get pumping right then. We suggest parking outside of the park. If you drive in, you may find yourself in the car for 15+ minutes trying to get out! Cycling on the paved road through the park is another active option.
Via 100 Southbound, turn left onto Cheeks road and follow until 5 way stop. Turn right. You'll see it. Also, Belle Meade Blvd. dead ends into park.
