A fantastic jogging route and unique urban escape during the day and a red-light district at night--bet you haven't seen that before? Bois de Boulogne is an enormous greenspace (2.5 times larger than New York's Central Park and more than 3 times larger than London's Hyde Park) that is easily accessible to those staying at or near the Concorde Lafayette and Le Meridien E'toile hotels.
Ask the front desk staff for directions and browse through our photos for additional insight. In addition to 28km of horse-riding trails and 15km of cycling paths (including a 9km discovery track and 3.6km loop around Longchamp racecourse), all great for joggers, BdB includes two lakes that stretch around its east side (boats can be rented), an open-air Shakespeare theater and historic garden in the center, and a zoo, miniature golf, boat rides and more at the Jardin D'Acclimation on the north end. Prostitutes and muggers loiter in and around the park at dark so stay away at night...even during dawn and dusk. And if you can bring a running partner along, do so!
