This is the oldest covered food markets in Paris and primarily caters to those living in this neighborhood. It's a smallish market offering high quality veggies, fruits, baked goods, deli meats and even wine. It's mostly locals here, but we encourage a visit. There is plenty of food that can be purchased and eaten right here (schwarma, falafel, tagines, crepes, artisan grilled sandwiches and more).
We love that the market is open every morning and that it has such a local, neighborhood feel. Nearby are specialty shops, restaurants and a supermarket. Walk another 10 minutes and you'll reach the Pompidou Center.
Open Tues to Thurs 8:30a to 1p & 4p to 7.30p, Fri to Sat from 8:30a to 1p & 4p to 8p, Sundays from 8:30a to 2p
