Bronze Accenture Preferred Hilton La Defense

The Hilton La Defense is located within the CNIT Convention Center. The accommodation has a fishbowl-like feel and even the rooms' windows overlook the inside of the Expo center cutting off natural light from the outdoors. Rooms are simply adorned with standard furnishings.

No hotel workout option on site at present, but construction of a gym is in the plans according to staff. Discounted access to a nearby health club is offered instead.
Bronze Accenture Preferred Pullman Paris Montparnasse

The best feature of this popular business hotel is its wonderful location in the heart of Montparnasse, a section of Paris that is more local than touristy. Narrow streets, family-owned restaurants, weekend farmers' markets, and city parks, contribute to the area's low key Paris vibe.

Fitness Facility:
Small hotel gym that really isn't worth your time. Instead, walk to nearby reputable health club, community lap pool, or one of the best jogging trails in Paris.
Bronze Accenture Preferred Le Meridien Etoile

We recommend Le Meridian E'toile primarily for those in search a convenient abode while in town for meetings and/or convention business in the immediate vicinity.  The hotel faces the convention center; and the Champs Elysees and Arc de Triomphe are not far.

Bronze Novotel Vaugirard

We cover this hotel primarily for those needing/wanting to stay in this outlying part of Paris (Vaugirard is about 15-minutes walk beyond Montparnasse proper).

Nothing worthwhile on site, but within a 5-minute walk of a reputable health club -- high admission fee, however.
Bronze Hotel California

For those travelers seeking a wallet-friendly accommodation near the center of Champs Elysees' action, Hotel California is a reasonable consideration. It's not upscale, impressive, or loaded with complimentary perks. Why recommend it?

Budget-minded accommodation recommended for its proximity to a serviceable health club (50 yards from the front door).
Bronze Pullman Paris la Defense

La Defense is a district in Paris consisting of many imposing highrise office towers and bland concrete structures, vastly different from the tree-lined streets and quaint neighborhoods that characterize most other sections of the city.

Nothing to get excited over on-site (a few machines in a tiny room), but also within walking distance to a health club (steep admission fee applies).
Gold Novotel Montparnasse

Novotel is our favorite Montparnasse hotel as it impresses with a modern accommodation, comfortable rooms, a tasty breakfast spread, and a useful hotel gym. The colorful lobby will put a smile on your face and the visually appealing restaurant should also satisfy your hunger.

It's not much, but for Paris this Novotel's gym is good. Also walking distance to a community lap pool and one of best parks in the city for runners.
Silver Concorde Montparnasse

We spent one night here and enjoyed our stay, although the experience started off rocky to say the least. Once arriving in Paris via a late-night, high-speed Eurostar train, all we wanted to do is check into our room and go to sleep.

One of the best health clubs in Paris is located under this hotel--steep entry fee applies unless you book a Club Level room (then admission is free). Also near Bois de Boulogne for runners and walkers. And, a bike rental station is conveniently located across the street.
Bronze St. James Albany

St. James Albany is a cheaper alternative for those wanting to stay in the heart of Paris' bustling tourist and cultural district. We would rather set up base in a more quiet and remote part of town, but we understand many prefer the convenience and buzz of being in the middle of it all.

Relatively large (still small by American standards) hotel gym on-site with a few good cardio and strength machines. Convenient Paris run route along the Seine an option as well.
Bronze Hotel du Louvre

Hotel du Louvre is a fantastically located hotel for those desiring an abode convenient to the Paris landmarks. The Opera, River Seine, Champs Elysees, and of course, the Louvre Museum are all within a short walk.

Gold Renaissance La Defense

La Defense is a burgeoning business area located about 5-10 miles beyond the tourist hotspots. With the Grande Arche as its anchor tenant, La Defense is a concrete-filled, unromantic district that is relatively deserted on weekends.

Gold Hotel du Collectionneur Arc de triomph

L'Hotel bestows many unique benefits upon its privileged guests which makes it one of our favorite properties. Its most appealing feature may not even be located on property, an across-the-street location from beautiful Parc Monceau.

One of Paris' better hotel fitness centers on property and across the street from Parc Monceau--an appealing option for jogging and walking.
Gold Four Seasons Hotel George V

Celine Dion and Kylie Minogue were guests during our visit to this upscale Paris hotspot to the Stars. Fortunately, the 100+ person crowd gathered outside the front door and the others milling about the lobby didn't prevent us from a peek inside.

The best hotel gym in Paris. Indoor pool is more for relaxation than lap swimming. Running along the Seine is another good exercise option.
Silver Hyatt Regency Paris - Madeleine

Only a few blocks from the Champs Elysees, this boutique, 86-room Hyatt enjoys a central location and is a welcome departure from the hotelier's more typical grandiose, business-like properties.

Silver Renaissance Vendome

Located just off busy Champs Elysees and mere steps from the Vendome, this 6-floor boutique Marriott-owned Renaissance property offers a central location and a taste of the good life. All 82 rooms are brilliant examples of 21st Century technology and modern style.

Impressive equipment stocked in a small, underground room. Hotel's indoor pool too short for lap swimmers. Jogging along the Seine is another convenient fitness option for guests.
Gold Park Hyatt Vendome

Park Hyatt is one of the top two or three luxury properties in Paris. The entire hotel oozes upscale with its exquisite décor and design, not to mention the ample security personnel subtly stationed throughout.

One of the most upscale hotel gyms and spas in Paris. Still, fitness center is small, stocking only a few top notch machines. Consider a Paris outdoor run along the River Seine--convenient to the hotel.
Gold Castille Paris - Starhotels

What do most travelers to Paris want from their hotel? Convenient and central location? Attentive and friendly service?Impressive rooms with comfortable bedding and memorable decor? Good exercise opportunities? They're all here at the Castille.

Top-of-the-line fitness equipment offered in a well-designed hotel gym. We only wish there were a few more machines as Le Grand's large size makes the sweat rush-hour busy here.
