One of the best mountain bike rides we've ever experienced is the Flume Trail over Lake Tahoe. Count on quite a bit of climbing at altitude, so don't set out without some riding in your legs. The mostly single track is incredible and only outdone by the unbelievable Lake Tahoe views.

This 7,500 sq. foot family-friendly indoor rock climbing gym features 35' walls of sculpted terrain. Knowledgeable and friendly staff help you get started, whether it's a full-blown lesson or general equipment setup. To climb here you'll need a day pass for $12 and unless you bring your own gear, you'll need to rent the helmet, harness and shoes for $3 each.
