Athletic-Minded Traveler

We were bummed to learn that this fantastic pool is accessible only to college students, alumni and those affiliated with the university. We asked whether admission would be granted if there on university business and the answer was, "I don't know." If you are on campus and looking for a dip, it's definitely worth taking a shot at persuading the co-ed "gatekeeper" .

The pool itself is a wonderful 8-lane x 25-yard competition-quality rectangle with all the bells and whistles, including: backstroke flags, appropriate temperature, etc (see our photo). We simply wish more out-of-towners were permitted to enjoy. Admission costs $8.
