NH Atlanta
Rotterdam isn't a huge tourist destination, so the number of quality hotels is minimal. Our review/recommendation of NH Atlanta is directed to those travelers desiring a wallet-friendly accommodation and a central location.
Fitness Facility:
No gym on-site, but hotel does offer discounted access to one of Rotterdam's best health clubs (fairly long walk, however). Fairly close to our favorite run route too.

Novotel Rotterdam Brainpark
We realize this hotel is fifteen minutes from downtown Rotterdam, but there are a few reasons why we chose to include it in our list of recommended hotels. First, Hotel Novotel Brainpark is a newly-renovated 4-star property with 206 colorful, modern rooms.

Inntel Hotels Rotterdam Centre
Located on the south side of the city, Inntel Rotterdam Centre is approximately 1 mile beyond the heart of Rotterdam's retail and commercial district, but it is closer to the Maas River (on the bank) and cruise terminal.
Price: Moderately Expensive Fitness Facility:
One of the smallest hotel gyms we've ever seen, but fortunately a few top notch machines are squeezed inside. Hotel very close to our favorite run route too.

Bilderberg Parkhotel
This Bilderberg property is an 8-story hotel located half-way between the Maas River and the commercial district's heart. Each area is reachable on foot, 5 to 10 minute walk in opposite directions.
Fitness Facility:
Meager gym with a few high quality machines. Also near our favorite downtown Rotterdam run route.

Manhattan Hotel Rotterdam
As the closest hotel to the central train station, Manhattan Hotel is an easy walk for Rotterdam travelers coming by rail. Exit the station and the property is a convenient 200 yards away.

Best hotel gym in Rotterdam and within a block of a health club.

This relatively large Rotterdam accommodation is located in the heart of the city, within a five-minute walk of the central train station - and that's about its best characteristic. The 10-story hotel has recently seen an upgrade, with new furnishings and an upgraded hotel gym.
