This facility is the newest health club to hit the downtown Rotterdam market. Located in the core of Rotterdam's retail district, the club's square-footage is somewhat limited, but what it lacks in space it makes up for in equipment quality.

We like that this Bikram studio is convenient to our recommended hotels (near the Erasmus Bridge) and that the space is calming and cool. Think modern and Zen. The changing room has dark wood cubbies for your personal belongings and a community shower with multiple shower heads.

As the largest health club in downtown Rotterdam, this gym is popular with local residents and office workers. Its largesse also affords ample space for a 3-lane x 20-meter lap pool with bottom stripes and floating lines (kickboards and pull-buoys supplied as well).

Named the best public space in the Netherlands in 2007, this large public park boasts meandering woods and a lake making it worth the trip for a jog or walk. Still, you will have to commute here from downtown.
