CorePower in Hillcrest, about 3.5 miles from downtown, is located on the 2nd floor of the District Shopping Center across from Trader Joe's. There's a Sbux here too. Take bus route 120 from downtown, exit at University Av/10th Av, walk about one block to shopping center.
The studio features zen-like décor, a yoga boutique, one medium-size practice room and a quiet reprieve from the busy streets below. Locker rooms with showers offer soap, shampoo, hair dryers and space for personal belongings.

With the exception of the beginner C1 class, all classes are heated to about 90 or 95 degrees with humidity. You’ll be warm and cozy and will quickly work up a sweat. CorePower classes are 60 or 75 minutes in duration, physically challenging and set to music. Classes offered: C1, C2, and C3 are the company’s proprietary heated “power yoga” classes; Hot Yoga follows the Bikram sequence; Hot Power Fusion combines the Hot poses with the Power Yoga poses; Yoga Pilates which combines yoga poses with Pilates mat exercises, Yoga Sculpt is a Vinyasa flow combined with weights; and CoreRestore, a restorative yoga practice. Not all studios offer all class types.
